I`m looking forward to being celebrant of this Mass again after a few years. H/T to Fr Henry for the posting.

  1. Take care that you don't upset the Snowflakes tomorrow in York...
"In the past, NUS (National Union of Students) events have banned clapping on the grounds that it may "trigger anxiety." Critics say that such behaviour is typical of the "snowflake generation" of students who are seen as over-sensitive and quick to take offence. And the University of Glasgow has started issuing "trigger warnings" for theology students attending lectures on the crucifixion, advising that they may see distressing images and giving them the opportunity to leave." (Daily Telegraph, 28 April 2017.

So, Father, no carrying of crucifixes through the streets. Snowflakes melt very easily, and you wouldn't want melted snowflakes on your conscience.

In the scale of lefty idiocy, surely Glasgow University takes the biscuit. Theology students being upset by a crucifix - I suppose John Knox would have approved.
